Bang Pa-In Palace and the Chao Phraya River (April 13)

Bang Pa-In Palace is the summer palace of Thailand's king and queen. (Thailand is a constitutional monarchy.)


It has wonderful gardens and buildings of various architectural styles.

 
 
Leaving the palace, the bus took us to a boat that would transport us back to Bangkok on the Chao Phraya River.

 
 
 

Back at our hotel, from our room we could we look down on the river we had just been on.
