Today was a major celebration of Phi Mai. On our way to it we did some touring, periodically getting splashed with water.
Pam "watered the buddha." This involved pouring water into one end of a long tube. The water traveled the length of the Tube, then rained down on a group of buddhas. Dabbing yourself with water that rained down on the buddhas was supposed to help insure good luck.
Guild's boss kindly arranged an excellent vantage point from a balcony on the parade route.
In the evening, Guild took us to one of the best cultural shows we have ever seen.
